In several countries, indications for cochlear implantation have expanded to include children and adults with single-sided deafness (SSD). Last year also FDA approved the indication for reimbursement in USA. To provide an up to date evidence overview within this area, Cochlear initiated a systematic literature review that was conducted by an independent external consultant. Recently, the literature review was finalized. In this webinar a summary will be presented by Josie Wyss, Director of Scientific Communications at Cochlear.
