The world‘s population is experiencing a shift towards an older demographic. The importance of maintaining good health in our later years cannot be overstated. But how does this relate to hearing?

Dr Domenico Cuda from Piacenza and Dr Isabelle Mosnier from Paris are pleased to invite you to our online seminar on this important topic to support healthy aging with effective hearing treatment.

The seminar will feature an introduction on cognition and Cochlear Implants (CI) in the elderly population, including the causes of cognitive decline and what the risk factors are, a presentation of the multinational, multicentre observational study on healthy aging in CI-recipients and a multidisciplinary panel discussion m looking at outcome measures and what can be done to preserve cognition in the elderly.

We hope that this seminar will support awareness and help to overcome referral barriers, to ensure healthy aging with effective hearing treatment. We look forward to seeing you!
